The Citizen’s Jury is a good way of testing the basic ideas at the heart of the project with members of the public, and to get the ‘non-professional’ perspective on the issues.

In their first two meetings, the Jury members have discussed what they understand by ‘health and wellbeing’ and what they think the key drivers of health and wellbeing might be. They have also had the chance to discuss the other elements of the project with the SCF team, and suggest some of the issues to be explored in the case study visits to England and Sweden.

Finally, they have drawn on their own experience to suggest some additional elements for inclusion in the ‘health and wellbeing system map’ being developed during the project. In the remaining meetings, the intention is to involve the Citizen’s Jury members in reviewing the project findings and ask them to contribute to the conclusions for the final report.
